Property Due Diligence
Property Due Diligence
Every person at the time of buying or investing their money in the property, should scrutinise the documents in order to have a clear title in the property. A title refers to ownership of the property, this can be verified by scrutinising the documents and deeds which gives clear details about who has the legal ownership in the property, and whether the person selling the property is the rightful owner and has the capacity to sell the property under law.
By evaluating property due diligence, it is necessary to see the sequence chain in the title and verifying the revenue records and other documents such as encumbrance certificate for the past 30 years.
Title Verification of the property through an Advocate is essential before investing in any immovable property.
